What Crafts.ly Is For

Crafts.ly is a marketplace and social platform for handmade goods. It's a place where artists share their work, connect with buyers, and sell what they create by hand. Everything on the platform should support that purpose.

What's Welcome

• Handmade goods. Items you've made yourself, whether that's ceramics, jewelry, textiles, woodwork, painting, printmaking, or any other craft.
• Original work. Your own creations, designs, and artistic expression.
• Process and story. Posts about how you make your work, what inspires you, and the story behind your craft.
• Supportive interactions. Thoughtful comments, honest reviews, and constructive conversations between artists and buyers.

What's Not Allowed

The following are not permitted on Crafts.ly. Content or accounts that violate these guidelines may be removed.

Products and Listings

• Mass-produced or factory-made items.
• Digital products, downloads, or non-physical goods.
• Resold goods not made by the seller.
• Counterfeit items or items that infringe on another creator's intellectual property.
• Items that are illegal to sell.

Posts and Comments

• Spam, including repetitive or irrelevant promotional content.
• Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech directed at any individual or group.
• Sexually explicit content.
• Content that promotes violence or illegal activity.
• Misleading or deceptive content.

Accounts and Behavior

• Impersonating another person or brand.
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent enforcement actions.
• Manipulating reviews, likes, or follower counts.
• Using the messaging feature for unsolicited advertising or harassment.

Reviews

Reviews are an important part of the marketplace. Buyers can leave reviews after an order has shipped, and sellers can reply to reviews on their products.

We ask that all reviews reflect genuine experiences and remain respectful. Reviews that contain harassment, spam, or content unrelated to the transaction may be removed.

Sellers should not pressure buyers into leaving positive reviews or retaliate against buyers who leave negative feedback.

Reporting Content

If you see something that doesn't belong on Crafts.ly, you can report it directly in the app. Reports can be submitted for posts, products, users, comments, reviews, and conversations.

To report, tap the menu icon on the content and select "Report." Choose the reason that best describes the issue:

• Spam
• Inappropriate content
• Harassment or bullying
• Counterfeit or fraudulent
• Intellectual property violation
• Other

All reports are reviewed by our team. Submitting a report is confidential.

Fraud & Safety

Crafts.ly takes fraud seriously. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Creating fake listings or misrepresenting products to deceive buyers.
• Using stolen payment methods or engaging in payment fraud.
• Attempting to manipulate the platform's payment or payout systems.
• Conducting transactions outside of Crafts.ly to avoid platform protections.
• Any other activity intended to defraud buyers, sellers, or the platform.

Crafts.ly cooperates with law enforcement and will report illegal activity, including fraud, to the appropriate authorities when warranted.

Enforcement

When we identify a violation of these guidelines, we may take one or more of the following actions depending on the severity:

• Removing the content in question.
• Issuing a warning to the account holder.
• Suspending or permanently disabling the account.
• Canceling active orders and issuing refunds.

We aim to enforce these guidelines fairly and consistently. If you believe an action was taken against your account in error, you can contact us at support@crafts.ly to request a review.

A Note to Sellers

Your reputation on Crafts.ly matters. Fulfill orders promptly, communicate with buyers when issues arise, and represent your products accurately in your listings and photos. Sellers who consistently provide a poor experience, such as failing to ship orders, misrepresenting products, or being unresponsive to buyers, may have their selling privileges revoked.
