Creating Your Account
You can create a Crafts.ly account using your Google or Apple account. On iOS devices, both options are available. Sign up is free and only takes a moment.
Once signed in, you'll be prompted to set up your profile by choosing a display name, username, and optional bio. You can also add a profile photo.
Managing Your Profile
You can update your profile at any time from Settings. Editable fields include:
- Display name — Your public name shown on your profile and alongside your posts, products, and reviews.
- Username — Your unique handle on Crafts.ly. Usernames cannot contain the word "craftsly" or variations of it.
- Bio — A short description that appears on your profile.
- Profile photo — An image that represents you across the platform.
Your Settings
Your Settings page gives you access to your profile, account options, and activity on the platform. Depending on whether you're a buyer, seller, or both, you'll see different options.
Everyone has access to:
- Edit Profile
- Notifications
- Purchases, Reviews, Comments, and Likes
- Saved Shipping Addresses
- Help & Support
- Terms & Privacy
- Sign Out
- Delete Account
Sellers also have access to:
- Seller Dashboard
- Stripe Dashboard (opens in Stripe)
- Products, Seller Orders, and Payouts
- Shipping Policies and Return Policies
What Data Crafts.ly Collects
Crafts.ly collects the information needed to operate the platform and provide you with a good experience. This includes:
- Account information — Your name, email address, and authentication details from your Google or Apple account.
- Profile information — Your display name, username, bio, and profile photo.
- Transaction data — Order details, shipping addresses, and payment card type (last four digits only). Full payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on Crafts.ly's servers.
- Usage data — We use Amplitude to collect anonymous analytics about how you use the app, such as which screens you visit, features you interact with, and general usage patterns. This helps us understand how to improve the platform.
- Content you create — Posts, comments, reviews, product listings, and messages.
What Crafts.ly Does Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- We do not store your full credit or debit card numbers. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe.
- We do not share your shipping address with anyone other than the seller fulfilling your order.
Payment Data & Stripe
All payment processing on Crafts.ly is handled by Stripe. When you make a purchase, your payment information is sent directly to Stripe and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy and security standards. Crafts.ly only stores the last four digits of your card for your reference on order details.
If you're a seller, your payout information is managed through your connected Stripe account. You can access your Stripe dashboard from Settings to manage your banking details, view transfers, and update your Stripe profile.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. When you delete your account:
- Your profile, posts, products, and other content are removed from the platform.
- Your account enters a 30-day holding period. During this time, you can contact support@crafts.ly to request restoration.
- After 30 days, your data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
If you have pending orders or an outstanding seller balance, we recommend resolving those before deleting your account.
